“You cannot make a very serious film with Siva Karthikeyan” – AR Murugadoss

The success meet of Thirukumaran’s Maan Karate was held recently at Green Park Hotel, for which, the entire team, including, AR Murugadoss, Siva Karthikeyan, Anirudh, Hansika, Madan and director Thirukumaran were in attendance. Here’s what Murugadoss, who has also written and co-produced the film spoke at the event.
 

“You cannot make a very serious film with Siva Karthikeyan. Changes should be gradual. When we signed him he had done only two films and in a matter of one year, he gave three consecutive hits, which made the job highly challenging for us. Even if it is a comedy film, it demands the same work as any other films.”
 

“When I produce, money is not my primary earn. I earn well as a director. I look to introduce a lot of new talents when I produce. With Maan Karate I have launched my own assistant, Thirukumaran.”
