Anirudh to make a special appearance in Maan Karate

'Local Boys' and Deva open the Tasmac

Feb 24, 2014

Composer Anirudh has been on a roll ever since his debut in 2012. He has worked on 4 straight Tamil film albums till date and all four have been chartbusters. His work on films such as David and Irandam Ulagam was also appreciated.

His next release would be Maan Karate on March 1, and the likes of Shruti Haasan and veteran composer Deva, among others, have lent their vocals for the album. The song that Deva has rendered is titled 'Open the Tasmac' and it promises to be a 'bar anthem'. Anirudh has also shared the vocal duties for this number.

The interesting thing is that Anirudh will also be making an onscreen appearance for this song along with hero Siva Karthikeyan. Anirudh is not new to facing the camera as he has been a part of his own superhit songs such as 'Local Boys' in Ethir Neechal (another 'bar anthem') and 'Chennai City Gangsta' in Vanakkam Chennai.

Maan Karate now has another special attraction to pull in the audiences, in addition to its lead pair of Siva K and Hansika. The film is tentatively set for a release on March 28.
