Ajith's silver jubilee treat to strike again

Ajith's 25th film as a credited actor, Amarkalam is set to be re-released after undergoing DI-Restoration. Amarkalam is a highly successful movie in Ajith's career as an action hero and gave him a major break as an 'angry young man' in 1999. This is also the movie when he met his sweetheart Shalini, fell in love and later settled in marital bliss.

Directed by Saran and with a very popular music score by Bharadwaj, comprising evergreen songs like 'Satham Illadha Thanimai Ketten', Amarkalam's re-release can be expected soon what with Thala Ajith's 43rd birthday just a few days away, on May 1.
