Shriya’s spiritual comeback

Shriya Saran who scorched the screen a few years back with her slender frame and superb dance moves, went into a hiatus for some time. But the gorgeous lady is returning to Tamil films but this time in a very different premise, role and subject. She will be seen as Bibi Naachiar in Sri Ramanujar directed by Ravi V Chander, produced by Hayagriva Cine Arts.
 

Ramanujar was a Vaishnavite saint and a social reformer who lived in the 11th century. Krishnan dons the role of Sri Ramanujar. The supporting cast includes Radha Ravi, Sriman, Nizhalgal Ravi, Delhi Ganesh, Y G Mahendra, P R Sethuraman and Rangaraj. Cinematography is by Pramoordas and Ilaiyaraaja scores for Vaalee’s lyrics. Spectacular sets have been erected in A V M studios and the shooting is on at a brisk pace.
