Vishal is a member of Varuthapadum Valibar Sangam

High on the success of Pandiyanadu, Vishal in a recent interview stated that this was easily his most challenging role till date. He spoke of the climax fight for which he says he had to spend an entire week just to unlearn everything he knew from his years in the industry and treat this film as his new introduction.

The straightforward Vishal also touched upon some sensitive issues that have surrounded him in the recent past. Firstly, the fate of Madha Gaja Raja he says lies well and truly with the film’s producer but he confidently adds that whenever the film does come out, it will be a success.

Next, on the subject of his recent run-ins with the Nadigar Sangam Vishal cleared the air by saying that he had no aspirations to form an opposition group and considers himself a part of the ‘Varuthapadum Valibar Sangam’ in this case. However he said that he had raised a request for a separate building for the actors and has assumed the responsibility to ensure that it is being fulfilled.
