Naani takes a gamble on Vijay Sethupathi

Actor Naani who was one of the chief guests for the audio launch of Vijay Sethupathi’s latest offering Pannaiyarum Padminiyum revealed that he took a decision purely out of gut instinct to acquire the remake rights of this film in Telugu and produce it himself after listening to just the basic storyline narrated casually by Vijay Sethupathi.

He admitted that he was taking a huge gamble by not watching the film before taking the decision to buy it but once he had watched the film in the dubbing theatre he felt that he had won a jackpot. Naani said that it was one of the sweetest stories he had ever come across and he hoped that film would succeed well at the box office as it would pave the way for more such films.
