Tamil director makes a Hollywood film

Swamy Kandan has earned the distinction of being the first individual from Tamil Nadu to direct a Hollywood project. The film titled The Secret Village is a horror thriller that’s written by Swamy Kandan and Jason Whittier. The independent film is executive produced by Raj T. Rajan MD, produced by Swamy Kandan and co produced by Sridhar Ranganath.

The project stars some familiar faces in Jonathan Bennett, Ali Faulkner, Richard Riehle and is being brought out by Midnight Friends LLC. The project was filmed in and around Massachusetts with production starting in December 2012.
