Sasikumar’s upcoming film Kutty Puli is based on a true story of an individual from Rajapalayam who goes by the same name. Sasikumar has received training in Silambattam as his character is supposedly well versed in that craft. 'Wife dhaanda life" is a dialogue that Sasi often speaks in the film as per sources. 

The film will also promise some quick footwork from Sasikumar who has supposedly received some dance lessons which he will display for a remix tune. The makers also say that the climax of Kutty Puli would not have been accepted by any leading hero and complimented Sasikumar for agreeing to do it.

The film will feature Sasikumar only in a traditional dothi, and the only scene where he wears pants will be for a comedy sequence that the director believes will bring the roof down with laughter.
