Ajith was seen sporting a protective brace on his right knee during the recent hunger fast organized by the Nadigar Sangam in support of the Sri Lankan Tamils. We hear that this brace is an imported one and that it isn’t easily available in India. It helps relieve the pain in his knees to an extent.

Ajith is sporting this brace as a precautionary measure before his surgery which is planned in October. He is also taking the necessary medicines as advised by his doctors. 

A physiotherapist is alongside Ajith during the shoots of his 54^th movie, directed by Siva, which commenced recently in Hyderabad. Thala is still in good spirits and is attending his shoots and has asked his close friends and fans to not worry.
