The film supposedly starts with Santhanam and ends with him. Vanakkam Chennai is a romantic tale of two beings, played by Shiva and Priya Anand. Shiva plays a guy from Theni and Priya Anand’s character is a London based girl. The problem these two face and how they overcome all the troubles is the nutshell of the film.
 

The team assures that Vanakkam Chennai is a complete comedy entertainer made for all age groups. Directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, the film has music by Anirudh. The film also stars Renuka, Oorvasi, Rahul Ravinder, Nasser and Manobala in other pivotal roles.
