We had reported about the positive buzz and word of mouth for Dhanush's B-Town debut, Raanjhanaa and how the second day had collected more than the first. Now, after the all important first Sunday, the first weekend net collections have turned out to be a respectable 19 crores plus.

Each subsequent day has collected more than the previous day and with a good buzz around the movie, the weekdays starting today, are expected to sustain at a decent level.

It must be noted that Aanand Rai's previous hit, Tanu Weds Manu, had collected 19 crores in its first week and now Raanjhanaa has surpassed that figure in its first 3 days. Kudos to the team for their well-earned success.
