Clash brings Kollywood to a standstill!
May 29, 2013 A violent stand-off between two unions in the industry yesterday has brought Kollywood to a standstill. The Drivers union and the Cameraman’s union were at loggerheads over a dispute and reports suggest that the situation became rather ugly.
The war broke out when the Drivers union learnt that one of the camera crews supposedly hired a private agency for their logistics, which is apparently against the understanding between the unions. The clash has led to all shootings being stalled and sources say that Vishal’s Pandianadu and Venkat Prabhu’s Biryani are amongst the ones that are affected by this sudden turn of events.
