We had earlier reported that the movie industry will be celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai from the 21^st to the 24^th of September, 2013. The latest buzz is that A.C Thirulokachandar, the Tamil film director of yesteryears will be honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
 

Thirulokachandar has directed movies like Anbulla Appa, Lorry Driver Rajakannu, Deiva Magan  and Anbe Vaa which were big hits. It should be noted that there will be four other recipients for the Lifetime Achievement Award other than A.C Thirulokachandar.
 

The event is expected to be a grand and exciting one with dance performances by the likes of Atharva, Vijayalakshmi, Bharath and Taapsee Pannu. It is said that Simran would be performing in a song too. The actors will gather their feet for songs like Aayiram Thamarai, Namma Ooru Singari, Oru Raja Rani, Senthura Poove, to name a few.
 

Choreographer Shanthi Arvind who gained popularity by dancing in the title song of the famous TV serial, Metti Oli, has choreographed the dance numbers of these actors.
