A few group of directors are well crafted to make a realistic film like SELVARAGHAVAN, Balaji Sakthivel, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, Vetrimaran,and the legends Balu Mahendra, Mani Ratnam, Bharathiraja, Balachander and Suseenthiran. RAAM from the school of Balu Mahendra has made his guru very proud with this movie.

 

 

A powerful emotional portrayal between a father and a daughter told in the core realistic way with sharp dialogues, soul soothing music from Yuvan, sprinkling camerawork of Arbhindu Saaraa, performances of all the lead characters. the 8 year old girl SADHANA carries the whole movie on her shoulder.
 

 

What i felt is more depth should have been added to the emotional bonding of the father and the daughter in the second half and much more crisper screenplay in the second half.
