Jai issue: Soundarya Rajini cancels shooting!

The comments made by actor Jai in a newspaper had several producers lodging a complaint against him at the Producers’ Council. The actor had reportedly said that all the films in which he has been booked or has been acting will not reap success at the box office. He went on to say that certain films will not rake a collection for more than a week. To add insult to injury the actor said that he expects Vamanan to do very well at the box office and is eagerly awaiting its release.

Jai is currently working in films like Arjunan Kadhali, Adhe Neram Adhe Idam, Aval Peyar Thamizh Arasi, Vamanan. The film Goa, which is being produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth and directed by Venkat Prabhu was slated to begin on March 11, 2009 but has been postponed due to this issue.
