Security arrangements are at the highest - there will be multi-layered security and each participant will go through it from different entrance gates before reaching his or her seat. Audiences will be allowed to enter the stadium three hours prior to the arrival of the two leaders and exit two hours post to them leaving the venue.

Notably, the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) is the nodal agency organising the mega event to inaugurate the facility with a capacity of 1.1 lakh, touted to be the world’s largest cricket stadium, beating the likes of the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

It is to be understood that the stadium will be full to capacity, while more than 10,000 persons will be sitting on the floors circling the stage from where both leaders, representing the world’s oldest democracy and the world’s largest democracy, respectively, will be speaking.

Sometime back, a controversy came into being workers build a wall along a slum area in Ahmedabad on February 13, 2020, as part of a beautification drive along a route that Trump and Modi will be taking during the former’s visit along with First Lady Melania Trump.

“Top Bollywood singers like Kailash Kher and performers and top Gujarati singers like Kirtidan Gadhavi, Parthiv Gohil and others will be performing at the stadium before and after the main even Namaste Trump,” a senior official involved in the preparations was quoted as saying.
