Former pak president was given death penalty by court

According to the reports, Musharraf is living in Dubai now and taking treatment at the hospital. It has to be mentioned that he ruled Pakistan from 1999 to 2008.

Musharraf was booked in December 2013 for betraying the nation when he declared a state emergency on November 3, 2007.

On March 31, 2014, he was charged for the crime and all the evidence against his charges was produced at the Special Court in September 2014.

In March 2016, Musharraf flew to Dubai seeking 'Medical treatment' and never returned for the subsequent trials at the court.  Therefore, he was declared as an absconder by the Pakistan court and a directive was issued to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest him.
