The United Nations, on Thursday, announced Portuguese politician and Prime Minister of the Country António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres as its 9th Secretary-General. Guterres comes to the position Succeeding South Korean politician Ban Ki-moon. Notably, Guterres had also served as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
