MADURAI MAN ROBBED OF 2.5 CRORE RUPEES AND KIDNAPPED; RESCUED BY POLICE!

The incident where the police rescued the owner of a jewelery shop in Madurai who was abducted with 2.5 crore rupees in 9 hours is being discussed about amongst the people in the area.

Dharmaraj is the owner of Nandini Jewelery, which operates in the royal area of ​​Madurai. The 61-year-old used to go to Nagercoil to buy gold items for his shop. So, Dharmaraj left for Nagercoil yesterday to buy gold. He had taken Rs 2.50 crore for this. He also took Praveen Kumar, his driver from Vilacheri with him.

Abduction

While Praveen Kumar and Dharmaraj were traveling, they parked the car at the Nesaneri light area near Tirumangalam and got down in the pretext of attending nature’s call. Dharmaraja was then threatened by another two men who came with knives and fled away in the vehicle along with the jeweller.

Praveen Kumar has told his friends Alexander and Arunkumar about the trip with the jewelery shop owner Dharmaraj. The three then planned to rob him. According to their plan, Praveen Kumar parked the car in Nesaneri area and the other two abducted Dharmaraja along with the car.

After dropping Dharmaraja down, Arunkumar and Alexandrian took a bus from there to Periyakulam and from there to Dindigul and stayed at a lodge room. Upon learning about this, the police officers immediately took action and arrested Arun Kumar and Alexandrian and seized the money he had.

The cash, cellphone and jewelery seized from the robbers were handed over by the police officers to the Tirumangalam police station.
