According to reports in The New Indian Express, the Department of Planning in Anna University has had only two permanent staff in the last three years. Reportedly there are a total of 50 students in this department and classes are managed with visiting faculties. Since it’s one of the rare courses in the country, there is a lot of demand for permanent faculty in this department.
