A video of a woman doctor lashing out at Union Minister of state for tourism K J Alphons at the airport in Imphal on Tuesday is making rounds in the social media. The passenger Nirala Singh is heard saying she had to reach Patna 2.45 pm to attend her brother’s funeral as “the body is lying there and it will degrade.” Reportedly, her flight got delayed by two hours due to President Ramnath Kovind’s arrival. The minister, however, later reportedly said, “I understand her distress, you can't blame her,” adding, “She vented her anger at me because she probably was looking for a compassionate face.”
