The century old CMC college in Vellore has reportedly decided to leave 99 MBBS seats vacant this year. As their demand to select students with their own counseling method was denied, the college has reportedly admitted only one student, nominated by Centre for MBBS. According to media reports, the college collects fees much lesser than government colleges, Rs 3000 per year.
