According to reports, a bus driver died due to cardiac arrest near Poonamalee, Chennai while driving the vehicle. The driver reportedly saved the lives of over 50 passengers on the vehicle with his quick thinking.

TN driver suffers from cardiac arrest while driving- Saves passengers

Ramesh, 47, is a driver of a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) express bus. He was driving from Thiruvallur to Chennai on the early hours of the morning when he suffered a heart attack and died. However, as soon as he realised that he cannot carry on driving, Ramesh immediately stopped the bus on the side of the road.

As soon as he stopped, he collapsed on the steering wheel. He was taken to the Kilpauk Medical College Hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case has been filed at the Koyambedu police station and an investigation is being carried.
