According to reports, Vasuki, the district collector of Thiruvananthapuram told media that the 102 Kerala fishermen who had gone into the sea have not yet reached home and they have not been able to contact their relatives. The cyclone Ockhi has caused damage to Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. Tamil Nadu government has reportedly allotted Rs 25 crore for relief works in Kanyakumari.
