After TTV Dhinakaran and his supporting MLAs’ meeting with the TN Governor Vidhyasagar Rao, Dhinakaran reportedly said that the Governor promised to take action against Edappadi K Palaniswami. One of the MLAs who was in Pondicherry resort along with 18 other TTV Dhinakaran's supporting MLAs, did not meet the Governor while 3 new MLAs joined the TTV’s faction and met the Governor. TTV Dhinakaran reportedly said that his ‘sleeper cells’ in EPS’s faction will act at the right time.
