‘Mersal’ scenes should not be removed for anyone: Actors’ association

The South Indian actors’ association has come out in support of the ‘Mersal’ film starring Vijay which garnered opposition from BJP for dialogues on GST. The association reportedly said the scenes should not be removed for anyone as such actions would cause big problems in the future. Making changes in the censored movie due to personal criticisms questions the freedom of expression, it reportedly added. Further, the association reportedly asked if there is no freedom of expression for cinema media and artists.
