Since the day of the meeting that was held recently at AIADMK headquaters, there had been a discussion about who would lead the party as CM candidate, and on this day that question has been answered with the announcement of the name officially.
Party Convener and Deputy CM Mr. O Paneerselvam at the press meet announced the current CM Mr. Edappadi Palanisamy as the CM candidate of AIADMK for the upcoming Assembly Elections in 2021.
Even a 11 Member Steering Committee was also announced by the party at the press meet today. As per the announcement made by CM Edappadi Palanisamy, following are the leaders who are going to advise the party being as the members of the Steering committee of the party:
