Actor and producer Cheran reportedly withdrew his protest against actor Vishal regarding Vishal contesting the RK Nagar byelection while still holding the president's post in Producers Council on Tuesday. Notably, actor Vishal’s nomination for the upcoming RK Nagar bypoll was earlier rejected by the Election Commission citing reasons that he has allegedly falsified signatures in his application. In an interview later, Cheran said "This is all a result of lack of experience. I wish him better luck next time."
