A Arun, additional commissioner, Chennai Traffic Police, has reportedly warned that those who involve in bike racing on New Year will not get their No Objection Certificate for getting the passport. The rule also applies to those who drink and drive, reports said. Also, the flyovers, except a few prominent ones, will be closed from 11.30 pm to 01.00 am on December 31. Meanwhile, the Kamarajar Salai will be closed from 9.00 pm to 03.00 am. Further, the police have reportedly planned to arrange eight places for parking the vehicles on the Marina stretch.
