CHENNAI: CHILD FALLS FROM 2ND FLOOR, DIES

According to reports, a one-and-a-half-year-old child died after falling from the second floor of a building in Mambalam, Chennai. The child Kannan, son of Muthuraj and Maheswari, was with his mother when she was drying clothes near the parapet wall. Maheswari was holding Kannan when he jumped off her hands and fell from the second floor. The child suffered injuries in the head and was rushed to Egmore child care hospital. However, he succumbed to the injuries.
