According to reports, vigilance at the Marina beach has been reportedly tightened following reports that students may gather at the beach to protest the suicide of Anitha, the 17-year-old girl who hanged herself after failing to secure a medical course seat. Anitha had filed a case against the NEET medical test in the Supreme Court.Earlier, police arrested students of an organisation for staging agitation in Anna Salai of Chennai following Anitha’s suicide.
