After the flood on 2015, TN government has reportedly identified 4,399 places from Tamil Nadu to be vulnerable to flood during the North-East Monsoon. The list reportedly includes Chennai also. The Frika authorities have allegedly prepared vulnerability maps after analysing the vulnerability. Escape routes and relief centres have also been reportedly made ready to use at the time of crisis.
