Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the ongoing IPL series.
The 15th season of the ongoing IPL series in India has reached its final stage. Expectations have arisen among fans as to which team is set to win the trophy this year. Chennai and Mumbai missed out on the play - offs.
In this context, it has been officially announced that Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Kane Williamson will not be taking part in the upcoming IPL series. The Kane Williamson-Sarah Rahim couple will have their 2nd child. Kane Williamson is returning home to stay close to his wife during childbirth. Kane Williamson has excelled as captain this season. But as a batsman he did not show the right game. He has played in 13 matches and scored only 216 runs. Kane Williamson hit just one half of it. Hyderabad, who have played 13 matches so far, have won 6 and are 8th in the table.
Nicholas Pooran is said to be likely to captain the side in the upcoming matches at this stage. He is the captain of the West Indies T20 cricket team.
