The current IPL series has reached a very exciting stage. With only a handful of matches remaining in the league round, only one team has advanced to the play-off round.
Apart from Mumbai and Chennai, 7 other teams (before the end of MI vs SRH) are competing to advance to the play-off round.
Last time only 8 teams participated in the IPL, this time two teams, the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants, are newcomers to the IPL.
Both Gujarat and Lucknow have been dominating the IPL since the beginning of the series. The Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, are top with 20 points. So far, only Gujarat has advanced to the play-off round.

Gujarat, the first team to advance to the play-off round, has released a video celebrating it. The Gujarat squad includes Tamil Nadu players Vijay Shankar, Sai Kishore and Sai Sudarshan. Along with these 3, Gujarat captain Hardik Pandya and spinner Rashid Khan have sung a song from the Tamil film.

Anirudh composed the music for the movie '3' starring Dhanush. This is the first film he has composed. The song "Why this Kolaveri" from the hit hit the box office and went viral internationally. The video of the song, sung by Hardik Pandya along with Tamil Nadu players, is currently getting a lot of likes on the internet.
