Chennai all-rounder Dwayne Bravo set a dramatic record in the IPL yesterday.
Two failures in a row
The 7th league match of the IPL series was played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. The Chennai Super Kings team led by Jadeja and the Lucknow Super Giants team led by KL Rahul clashed. Lucknow won the toss and elected to field. Accordingly, the CSK team batted first and CSK's Robin Uthappa, Shivam Dube and Moeen Ali added 210 runs. Chennai's Dwayne Bravo has set one of the most important records in the IPL. Bravo, who took one wicket in the match, holds the record for most wickets in an IPL series. He has played 153 matches so far and has taken 171 wickets to move to number one. Although he has played for Mumbai, Chennai and Gujarat so far, he has been playing for CSK for over 10 years and is still in the minds of CSK fans.
Lasith Malinga held the record before Bravo. Malinga, who has taken 172 wickets in 122 matches, had topped the list of highest wicket-takers in the IPL.
