VIRAT KOHLI OR STEVE SMITH: WHO’S THE BETTER BATSMAN? EXPERTS GIVE THEIR VERDICTS

The debate that’s raging on the internet is – who is the better batsman between Virat Kohli and Steve Smith? Now former England captain Michael Vaughan has given his verdict and picked Kohli over Smith as being the best all-format batsman currently.

Not just Vaughan, many cricketers have been put in a spot and drawn into a debate as to who’s better. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly had refused to pick one among them but admitted that Virat’s the best while also adding that Smith’s records speak for themselves.

Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad in a recent interview said that Smith is the better red-ball player, while Kohli is better in the limited-overs format.

Former cricketer-turned-commentator Dean Jones has picked Kohli to be better than Smith in all three forms of the game – Tests, One Day Internationals and T20s.

Well, we must indeed say that ahead of the clash with New Zealand, Kohli does seem to be having an upper hand.
