Shreyas Iyer, the youngest cricketer in the Indian cricket team, has been named the ICC Player of the Month.

He has been a part of the Indian team for the last few months and has been unable to stay in the team due to injury. He has since returned to the team and is now in excellent form. He played for Delhi in the IPL and has now been bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders and is named the captain of the team.
Great in T20 matches
Shreyas Iyer, the youngest member of the Indian cricket team, has moved up to 18th position in the recently announced ICC T20 rankings. Following his performances against the West Indies and Sri Lanka in the series, he earned several points in the rankings for the T20 series.
He also scored an impressive half-century in the match against Sri Lanka and shone as the Man of the Match. Shreyas scored a total of 204 runs in this match alone. As a result, he moved up from the 27th place to the 18th in the ICC T20 rankings.
Special in Test Match
Following this, the Test series with the Sri Lankan team is now underway. In this too, Shreyas Iyer is coming down as a back row player. He has mixed fifties in both the matches of the second Test. The ICC has now given him the greatest honor.
He is currently being named the ICC Player of the Month for February following his outstanding contribution. Shreyas is the third Indian to receive this award. The award has already been presented to Rishabh Pant and Ravichandran Ashwin.
