ROHIT SHARMA DONATES 80 LAKHS TO FIGHT COVID-19!

Indian Cricket player Rohit Sharma has donated Rs 80 lakhs to fight the COVID-19 crisis in India, saying the onus is on the citizens to get the country back on its feet.

Rohit has donated Rs 45 lakhs and Rs 25 lakhs to the PM Cares fund and CM of Maharashtra’s relief fund respectively. He has also given Rs 5 lakhs to ‘Zomato Feeding India’ and another Rs 5 lakhs for the welfare of stray dogs.

“We need our country back on feet & the onus is on us. Let’s get behind our leaders and support them @narendramodi @CMOMaharashtra,” tweeted the right-handed star batsman. 

Other Cricket players to have made monetary contribution include Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Ajinkya Rahane etc…,
