BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Monday said this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) will have a few new additions including concussion substitutes, an All-Star game and a third umpire for no balls.

IPL 2020: All You Need to Know About the All-Star Match

The All-Star game will see top international players from all the eight franchises taking to the field as two teams. Players from Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders will comprise one team with Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and SunRisers Hyderabad forming the other.

This means we would be seeing Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni and AB de Villiers play in the same team. Too excited already?!

The idea of the All-Star game was put forward by Ganguly and IPL Governing Council (IPL GC) Chairman Brijesh Patel and was approved at the recent meeting held in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Ganguly also confirmed that all the matches would start by 8 pm and the final will be held in Mumbai.
