“TESTING HIS HEART,” CONGRESS MP SHASHI THAROOR AND HARBHAJAN SINGH VOICE IN SUPPORT OF SANJU SAMSON!

Days after debates on Sanju Samson's omission from India's T20I squad for the upcoming series against West Indies took over internet, Harbhajan Singh has come in support of the Kerala wicketkeeper-batsman.

Replying to Congress MP Shashi Tharoor's tweet on the same, Harbhajan said the BCCI selection panel needs to be changed. "I guess they r testing his heart #selectionpanelneedtobechanged need strong people there.. hope dada @SGanguly99 will do the needful,(sic)" the tweet read.

Expressing disappointment, Tharoor in his tweet asked if the BCCI is testing Samson's heart. "Very disappointed to see @IamSanjuSamson dropped without a chance. He carried the drinks for three T20Is & has been promptly discarded. Are they testing his batting or his heart?"

Samson made his debut for India in 2015 and was given a chance in the T20I series against Bangladesh earlier this month. He also registered his maiden double century in domestic cricket as he smashed 212 runs off 129 deliveries including 20 boundaries and 10 sixes in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on October 12.
