While we are covering some interesting updates on IPL 2020 auction, the T20 season in the cricketing fraternity is lit up. On Sunday (November 3), the cricket fans had witnessed some brilliant knocks from two T20 games - India Vs Bangladesh and Australia vs Pakistan.

Aaron Finch innings vs Pak in Sydney. IPL 2020 Auction

Mushfiqur Rahim's brilliant 60 out of 43 runs took Bangladesh to a convincing 7 wicket victory at Delhi. On the other side, Australian Captain Aaron Finch showcased monstrous innings against Pakistan in the 1st T20 at Sydney. Finch decided to bowl first after winning the toss and Pakistan was bowled out at just 107 runs in 15 overs.

Finch and David Warner opened the innings for Australia and the innings started with raining boundaries and sixes.  Finch scored 37 runs out of 16 balls while warner scored 2 runs out of 4 balls. Both of them remained unbeaten and Australia's score went to 41 in just 3.1 overs.

Unfortunately, the match was abandoned due to rain which fairly disappointed the Aussie captain and he revealed it in his speech at the presentation ceremony. "If you're cutting overs off the game and you still have a 20-minute break it doesn't make much sense to me," Finch was quoted as saying by Cricbuzz. Further, he said that it was a part of the rules and game and they can't do much about it.

On the IPL front, Finch played for Kings XI Punjab in the 2018 edition and he did not take part in the IPL 2019 owing to World Cup preparations. As we all know, the IPL 2020 auction is set to take place on December 19 and Finch was already released by Punjab after 2018. Therefore, we would have to wait and see if any of the IPL franchises would be interested to buy him based on his performance in the upcoming games.
