Smoking in public places and selling of tobacco products to minors has been prohibited in Darjeeling. People including tourists, who smoke at public places will be fined Rs. 200 and selling tobaco products to minors and near educational institutes is also banned, told Srivatsa, the district magistrate of one of the alluring tourist spots and hill stations of India
