A 14-year-old Dalit girl, who left to Sivan town from her village in Ghazipur district in Uttar Pradesh on Friday, was waylaid by three youths, who allegedly gang-raped her in a field and set her on fire. When she ran out of the field seeking help, she fell unconscious, said police. The girl who was in a serious condition, was later taken to the district hospital by the locals.
