Sahaj International, India's first transgender school, was reportedly inaugurated in Kochi on Friday. In a bid to help the transgenders who dropped out of school to appear in Class X and XII examinations, the alternative learning centre will reportedly work in collaboration with the National Institute of Open Learning. Notably, the school is headed by six transgenders and a woman and has 10 students.
