According to a report by live mint, Sun group’s Chairman and promoter Kalanithi Maran was the highest paid executive in India in 2015-16 with a salary of Rs 71.47 crore, followed by his wife Kavery Kalanithi, who retained the second spot with a salary of Rs 71.46 crore. A M Naik, Group Executive Chairman of Larsen & Toubro occupied the third spot with a salary of Rs 66.14 crore.
