According to reports, a total of 850 bulls have been registered for Jallikattu to be held at Palamedu on Thursday. Jallikattu takes place in Palamedu after two years of ban and 1600 bull-tamers will reportedly participate in the event. Reportedly the district administration has made elaborate arrangements in coordination with the village committee to ensure that all safety measures are followed.
