The IRCTC has reportedly decided to waive off service charge on booking of E-tickets and I-tickets till December 31. Notably, the IRCTC charges Rs 20 and Rs 80 for e-tickets and I-tickets respectively for second class or sleeper. For other higher classes, it is Rs 40 and Rs 120 respectively. This move is said to encourage the cashless transactions.
