Woman who committed \'suicide\' in Ghaziabad found alive

The woman has been identified as Komal, who is a training manager in an insurance company and the daughter of Bharatiya Kisan Union's national secretary.

According to India Today reports, Komal went missing and her car, parked near Hindon bridge in Ghaziabad's Uttar Pradesh, was found on July 6. The car's location and a suicide note recovered from inside the vehicle led to the assumption that she had killed herself by jumping into the Hindon river.

The suicide note accused her husband and in-laws of harassing her. Komal's father also told the police that her in-laws used to trouble her. Believing that Komal had jumped into the Hindon river, the police launched a rescue operation that had divers searching for her in the river for three days after which the rescue mission was called off soon, India Today further reported.

The story took a new turn in few days, after intelligence inputs found out that Komal was in contact with a few people in her close friends. The police first zeroed down on Jaipur, Rajasthan as Komal's location.

When the police reached Jaipur, they got information that Komal was in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Upon reaching Mumbai, the police found that Komal was in Bengaluru. And finally the police found Komal in Bengaluru, media reports stated.

Ghaziabad Police is in the process of bringing Komal back and an investigation will be launched into the matter.
