SHOCKING VIDEO: MOB BRUTALLY KILLS LEOPARD IN FRONT OF FOREST OFFICER

In a shocking video that has gone viral shows, a mob in Karnataka brutally murdered a leopard in front of a forest officer. The villagers surrounded and killed the leopard with sticks, while the incident was captured on video.

The incident took place in Kurubarahalli village in Chitradurga district of Karnataka.

According to NDTV reports, the leopard had attacked two locals in the village's pomegranate garden in the last two days. The villagers, furious at the attack, had since been on a hunt for the big cat to avoid a repeat. When the mob found the leopard on Wednesday perched atop a tree. A video shot by an eyewitness shows several men throwing stones at the animal, even as officials, vastly outnumbered by the villagers, attempted to stop them.

The mob killed leopard regardless of its concern. During that time, officials who arrived there tried to stop the crowd, but their number was very low.

A similar incident took place in Assam in the month of May, where villagers had killed a leopard, gouged its eyes out and chopped off the paws. They later claimed that the animal had critically injured a man in the area.
