VIDEO: TWO ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO BURY BABY GIRL ALIVE

In an shocking case, two people have been arrested in Hyderabad for trying to bury a baby alive.

The incident took place near Jubilee Bus Station in Hyderabad. 

According to the police, the accused were spotted by an auto-rickshaw driver at 9:00 am. They were digging a pit while a bag was near them. On looking at the scene, the auto-rickshaw driver suspected that there was a baby in the bag after which he immediately informed the police. 

While speaking to media, Marredpally police said "today morning, an auto driver at the Jubilee bus stand ground noticed two persons with a bag in hand. They were digging a pit in the ground. Looking at the scene the auto driver immediately reported about the incident to police,"

"After it came to our notice, we immediately went to the location and it was found that the bag they were carrying had a baby in it," they added.

When police interrogated them, the two accused claimed that the baby was their granddaughter who had died few hours back due to an operation failure. So they decided to bury her and hence was digging a pit. But to the police's surprise, it was found that the baby was alive.

After which they immediately shifted the baby to a nearby hospital. Currently, the two accused have been taken into custody and a case has been registered against them.
